The place has wonderful amenities like baseball court, tennis court, park, children play area, walking trails, running court, walk path ways. There's something for everyone like kids, senior citizens, youth, excercise enthusiastic and elderly people who just wants some good time. Playground: There is a playground for kids with all types of amenities. Restrooms: Restroom were locked and hence not available. Dog-friendliness: There are plenty people coming with dogs. Picnic area: Wonderful place to have family or friends picnic here.

Reasonable park but needs attention.

Fill of dog poo, and full of irresponsible dog owners who let their dogs run riot off the lead! It's a shame the council doesn't put a bit more effort into public areas these days

It could be a really good park if things were maintained, around the bowling green and tennis courts the bushes are overgrown weeds are everywhere. The park itself is in need of updating and regular checks on the kids play area because the swings are loose, and everything on there needs a good clean up because it's filthy.

Grandchildren's sports day in the park was lovely.

Our grandsons and my first visit, 1 is 8 the other is 2, the 8 year old loved it he zoomed around on his scooter, he also took his football and had a kick about and then played a bit of basketball, the little one loved it on the swings and to cap it all off we had q picnic

Great place to relax and enjoy time with kids talk to other parents

Visited the play area with our granddaughter. The children love it but it's filthy!! The ground is covered in mud and the whole area looks unsightly. Obviously, no one from the council is going to attempt to clean it, especially as of today, 19th April, the Christmas decorations are still hanging proudly over market Street. Just 5 months after they were put up!! C'mon Westhoughton get your act together..for a change !!

It's alright. Play ground is pretty run down. Definitely needs some improvements. Playground can be over run with teenagers in the day too which spoils it for the little ones but that not the parks fault
