Allan came in to fix a sagging lintel above a leaky gable window installed by the previous owners… and found a right cowboy job - lintel not resting on bricks on one side, gaps everywhere, no waterproofing (first 4 photos). Tore it all out, put new lintel in properly, sealed everything and replaced brickwork (last 3). Kept us informed and explained everything clearly, with photos and videos of everything - and did it all to agreed price. Highly recommended

Bolton Lintel Repairs replaced the lintel above a 1st floor window and repaired the damaged brickwork above. Allan replaced the lintels to the rear and side of our house recently. We get battered by the rain and knew they needed doing desperatelybefore winter sets in properly. He's done an excellent job!! So I spent the best part of a year juggling, waiting on and being let down by various builders. Some completely disinterested. Some saying they can do the work, measuring up, quoting but then vanishing (i guess there's another job somewhere else more worth their while and why bother telling the customer). Some saying I don't need the work doing (contrary to surveyors report) and they would just "point it in". Confusing and stressful. I finally found the sense to just search for lintel repairs on google / maps and I'm incredibly glad I found Allan at Bolton Lintel Repairs. Allan is the nicest, most communicative, sensible, coordinated, efficient and skilled guy I've met, and very reasonable to boot.
