Hoped to be signed in for a quick drink, but neither of the two customers in there were prepared too, in fact the one who spoke up was a tad rude in my opinion. Suspect it may be due to the way I dress (see any of my reviews with pics as a reference point), I'm quite perceptive of attitudes towards me obviously. For all the customer knew I may have been booking a function room potentially. Two stars instead of one as the young man at the bar was polite and helpful, think he was a little embarrassed by the customers rudeness towards me too.

Great for game of snooker not that busy. Beer is at a good price. Good place to come and relax friendly staff and very welcoming. Also parking.

Were made to feel unwelcome despite intimating we wanted to become members. The Chairman insisted we pay for a 12 month membership despite there being only 6 months left of the year. Also double charged for drinks and ignored requests for a refund. Poor.

Too many pictures of Tories on the wall but scarey seeing Maggie glowering at you over a pint. Nice function space.
